As per the resolution of the Department of Education referred to in the above subject reference (2), from the academic year 2021-22, a decision has been taken by the Government to give the option of two types of question papers in Std-10 Mathematics Standard, Mathematics Standard and Mathematics Basic. There will be no change in the educational system in this regard at school level or classroom level. Mathematics Standard and Mathematics Basic question papers will be different in Std-10 Mathematics subject. In both types of formats, chapter wise merit, merit according to the type of questions as well as merit according to the objectives should be kept separately.
