The Gujarat Police Department has announced the Gujarat Police Constable Syllabus and Exam Pattern along with the official notification. The Gujarat Police Constable Recruitment will be conducted by Gujarat Subordinate Services Selection Board (GSSSB) shortly and therefore, interested candidates must be thorough with the complete details of syllabus, important topics, paper pattern, marking scheme and other details.
- The Written Examination will be conducted in two parts – Part A & Part B
- The Gujarat Police Constable Exam Pattern comprises questions on Reasoning and Data Interpretation, Quantitative Aptitude. Comprehension in Gujarati Language in the Part A.
- Questions on The Constitution of India, Current Affairs. Science and Technology, General Knowledge, History, Cultural Heritage and Geography of Gujarat and India will be asked in the Part B.
- The exam will be conducted in OMR Method.
- Only candidates who have qualified the Physical Efficiency test will be called to appear for the Written Examination.

Candidates appearing for the Gujarat Police Constable must be familiar with the exam pattern for each stage of the selection process. - All the candidates who pass the Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Standard Test will be called for Objective MCQ Test
- The Objective MCQ Test shall consist of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ).
- Every question shall be of 1 mark.
- Every attempted question with incorrect answer shall carry a negative mark of 0.25
- Candidate require to be qualified in both the Part A and Part B separately in order to be enlist in merit list.
